Online Training
Regularly scheduled, 2-hour trainings via ZOOM with a prerequisite of the completion of one Praesidium Academy module depending upon whether the trainee is renewing or completing for the first time.
Please note: The Diocese of Atlanta adopted updated policies for the protection of children and youth in January 2020. If you attended a training session that reviewed these updated policies (specifically, that addressed the inclusion of differently-abled/disabled and LGBTQIA+ children and youth), and need to renew your training, you do NOT need to attend a zoom session. Only the Praesidium Academy module is required.

In-Person Training
Occasional, in-person, full 3-hour training by diocesan Safe Church trainers are periodically offered. There is no online prerequisite. Information and registrations for in-person trainings will be posted here as they are scheduled:
